The Tibetan Cultural Center was the inspiration of His Holiness
older brother, Professor Norbu Taktser Rimpoche. [Below, on right]
 |
Under the directions of His Holiness, Arjia Rinpoche [above, left]
was asked to lead the center, the name was recently changed from TCC to
The Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center.
His Holiness set three primary goals for the center:
* To follow the example of the renowned Kumbum Monastery in Amdo, Tibet
as we present Buddhism to the Western World
* To foster a Cultural Exchange Program with Tibetans in Eastern Tibet
* To help preserve the culture and Buddhist tradition among the Mongolians
of Kalmykia, Buyatia, and Tuva.
Watch here for more news on this, and also on Telo Tulku Rinpoche's
[Kalmykia] work with Sokpo, and Shiwalha Rinpoche [Tuva] . |
