1976 ? born in Moscow.
1991-1994 - studied at the N. Tomsky Moscow Art
College. After graduating from College entered the V. Surikov Moscow State
Art Institute. Specialized in monumental art.
1995 ? was invited by the city administration
of the city of Baio-Doro, Italy, to work on the number of easel paintings.
1998 ? painted a number of frescoes in the Cathedral
of Dormition of Mother of God
in the Optina Monastery.
2000 ? painted a number of frescoes in the Christ
the Savior Church, Moscow
2001 ? painted frescoes in the refectory of the
Novospassky Monastery.
2001 ? graduated from the Surikov Institute.

Please describe your artwork.
Realism: Moscow school of painting. I like to
paint figurative subjects with people; still lives, landscapes.
What is your favorite technique?
Oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas.
What are your favorite types of art?
Realism, just as in works by Jan Vermeer of Delft.
What event inspired you to become a professional
artist and at what age were you when that event occurred?
Since yearly childhood I was fond of examining
books with pictures, and later on ? fine art albums with reproductions.
I used to copy paintings that I liked, so that was the beginning.
What has been the most fortunate thing that has
happened in your art career?
Wasel paintings.
Who has been the most influential person in shaping
your artwork?
Rembrandt, Jan Vermeer, Edgar Degas, Valentin
Serov, Ilya Repin.
What is your favorite subject for your art?
One of the most interesting themes to paint is
people. I like to depict them in the interior, surrounded by characteristic
(representative) objects.
