Valery Busygin
1952 ? was born on 16th of December in the city
of Morshansk in Tambov region.
1966-1966 ? attended childrenís art studio.
1967 ? entered art school for children.
1968 - entered Art College named after K.A.Savitsky
in Penza.
1972 - graduated from the Art College with
an excellent grade for my graduate work, which was shown
on the exhibition.
1972-1974 ? served in the Army.
1976 ? settled in Moscow. Worked in different
organizations, my last job ? worked as a
art-designer for Moscow TV studio ìOstankinoî.
1987 ? quit working for TV studio and dedicated
myself completely to painting.
1990 ? first one man show in Stutgardt, Germany
1993 ? became a member of the Creative Union
of Russian Artists.
1993 ? exhibition in Los Angeles, USA.
1997-1999 ? one man shows in Los Angeles, USA.

3. Please describe your artwork?
Depicting different scenes of nature, a lot of
light and reflecting surfaces.
4. What is your favorite technique?
Oil on canvas.
4. Which artistic medium is your favorite to express
yourself?
Realism, impressionism.
5. What event inspired you to become a professional
artist and at what age were you when that event occurred?
At the age of four I was stricken by the beauty
of spring and nature, when a cow calved in our yard. The smell of hey,
bright spring sunlight and the birth of the little calf left a very strong
deep impression. For the first time I felt all the beauty of nature. Also,
at the age of 6, I saw a beautiful oil painting and wanted to paint something
similar.
6. What has been the luckiest thing that has happened
in your art career?
Favorable reviews of the public and the poetry
dedicated to my works.
7. Who has been the most influential person in
shaping your artwork?
My first teacher in the Art School Victor Karasev.
8. What is your favorite subject for your art?
Rendering the texture of the subject; depicting
different scenes of nature.
