Santa Cruz California
For reasons unknown, even though invited
to participate, Santa Cruz California decided a few hours before their
celebration to not join the many other cities worldwide that did agree
to this support this humanitarian voice, and remained silent and only "partied
on", much to the sorrow, shame and disappointment of many local citizens.
We were told the Police Chief decided it was inappropiate.
Still, we all are pleased and relieved so many others,
world wide, did participate, and we are proud of the senstitive and kind
spirits everywhere that saw the need to temper their parties with human
compassion.
