Currently nearly half of my "missing" rooms are taken and there are only a few remaining rooms at TINAs and 1 Bungalow at Paradis.

About our Bora Bora Millennium Getaway
It is unbelievable to me that we still have space. I guess because I know how stunningly beautiful it is there, and expensive, and how impossible it is to find exotic millenium destinations at this late date. (Check the WEB!!!) And we've got rooms starting at $50/per person per night Ocean front rooms at Tina's and on-the-beach Bungalows at $100 (+tx) per persons per niight? On a private motu? Across the lagoon from the most beautiful island in the world.

Existing passengers: Am still in the process of assembeling everyone's packages, trying to get a little caught up on work, and sleep.

RE: Airline Woes on pre-paid deposits/Keep in mind, technically, they had me by the contract: "No name changes after 01Sep/50% penalty. $150 change fee before 01Sep. All Names supplied by Sept 21. All Tickets paid in full 60 d. prior. No FOCs, no child discounts, due to the demand and millennium time period."

And...they're "French". But as an old French friend once said:

I guess many things are unbelievable to me. That is part of the wonder of being alive.
To wit: It is now unbelievable to me that in 3 days, the very very beyond last moments, suddenly some folks, aside from us "Early Adoptors", have come out of the woodwork, currently nearly half of my "missing" seats and rooms. There are still more great rooms than air tickets, and this Monday I even now hope I will be able to "RECOVER" some of my Lost seats, and then be able to fill the corresponding rooms!

Now I have some strength to twist the arms of the 'evil airlines' that was keeping huge sums of pre-paid deposits in forfeit of my NOT comng up with passengers by THEIR timetable. I'll post here how I fare with that on Monday, for anyone interested.
